  • 1 1/2 pounds Below Zero cut green beans, thawed
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups crispy fried onions (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder 

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper. Add the garlic powder and onion powder.
  3. Add the thawed green beans to the sauce mixture and stir until the beans are well coated.
  4. Transfer the green bean mixture to a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Spread it evenly. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the green beans. Add the crispy fried onions on top of the cheese. 
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is hot and bubbly, and the onions are golden brown.
  6. Remove the casserole from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
