Ingredients

  • 2 cups Below Zero diced onions
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  2. Allow the caramelized onions to cool to room temperature.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Once the caramelised onions have cooled, stir them into the rest of the ingredients until well combined.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dip for at least 1-2 hours.
  6. Before serving, garnish with fresh chives or green onions. Serve the caramelized onion dip with chips or bread.
